Weekly Activities for Children

We believe in supporting the next generation with engaging and fun activities. Our weekly schedule includes our popular ‘Stay and Play’ sessions and ‘Monkey Music’ for pre-schoolers to explore their musicality. For parents with younger babies, ‘Baby Cloud’ offers sensory experiences, while ‘Motion Theatre’ and ‘First Flight Acro’ provide creative outlets for older children. We are also proud to be the home of the 5th Paddock Wood Guides and the Paddock Wood Rangers. There is a popular Youth Club that meet here on Friday evenings for young people of secondary school age.

Adult Fitness and Wellbeing

Our halls are a hub for health in the town. We offer a wide variety of yoga classes, including ‘108 Yoga’ and ‘Bud Yoga’. For those who prefer a faster pace, we have Bootcamp with Sarah and ‘Hip Hop Dance Class’, which features dancing and fitness in a fun environment. We also cater to specific health needs with classes like ‘Mobilates’ (Pilates for mobility issues), ‘Paracise’, and the ‘Breathless Choir’ for those with COPD.

Community and Support Groups

The Community Centre is a vital support network for the town and surrounding villages. We host monthly ‘Veteran Coffee Mornings’ on the first Thursday of every month and a ‘Chatty Cafe’ table every Monday morning in the Coffee Shop. For those looking to learn, Stephanie’s French and coffee conversation classes are held here every Friday and Slimming World meet here twice a week.

Special and Seasonal Events

Throughout the year, we host larger events that bring the whole community together. These include our annual Easter Fair, which features stalls and activities for the whole family, and our popular Christmas Fair. We have also hosted unique events, such as ‘An Evening with Owls’ and local film screenings, which serve as important fundraisers for local and national charities. Watch this space for future events!
