Since opening, Paddock Wood Community Centre has not just been a place to hire a hall or grab a coffee – it has also become a hub for local fundraising and practical support.

With help from residents, groups and volunteers, we have hosted charity coffee mornings, film nights and family events that have raised money for a range of good causes. Collections for local food support projects and other community schemes also take place in the building.

Alongside the fundraising, we try to offer small, practical gestures too – from hosting drop‑in sessions and information events for different support organisations to free sanitary wear in the ladies’ loos.

None of this would happen without people choosing to hold their events here, buying a coffee, or dropping a few tins into our collection points, so if you have supported us in any way – thank you.
